The Exercise referral scheme, or commonly known as the GP Referral scheme, continues to grow in number throughout the UK, in both health authorities, local authorities and the private sector. Working within this group will be an exciting and challenging role as you dealing with people with medical complexities.

1. Principles of Physical Activity and Exercise Referral (M/502/6113) – this unit is worth 6 credits
2. Effective Exercise Programming for Clients with Medical Conditions (H/502/6111) – this unit is worth 12 credits
3. Instructing Exercise with Referred Clients (A/502/6115) this unit is worth 3 credits
4. Professional Practice in Exercise Referral (A/502/6116) this unit is worth 3 credits
5. Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise and Health (A/600/9051) – this unit is worth 6 credits

Face to Face 5 days plus assessment

Blended learning plus 3 days

We understand that everyone learns how to become a fitness professional in the same way. Some learn via books, some via videos or animation or some simply learn via practical workshops. We have catered for all those who are stimulated educationally in different ways.
